Job Overview Perry Roofing is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Accountant/Bookkeeper with a CPA license to manage and streamline our financial records. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Learn more at . Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and manage monthly closings
- Lead payroll processing, tax filing, and benefits deductions
- Prepare financial reports for internal review and external audits
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local financial regulations
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for invoicing and payments
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and job costing activities
- Manage QuickBooks and support integration with CRM
- Provide administrative support for insurance, bonding, and licensing documentation
Qualifications - Active CPA license (Required)
- Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally in the trades or services sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with job costing and project accounting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
