Job Description
Our client, a leader in the data center industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Critical and Technical Services department supporting essential operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a mechanical inclination which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Center Technician
**Location:** Mesa, AZ
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
+ Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
+ React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.
+ Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
+ Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.
**What's Needed?**
+ Training in a Technical discipline with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
+ Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills to calculate simple figures such as percentages and discounts.
