Job Title: PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)

Location: Glendale, AZ (Hybrid – must reside near Glendale for periodic in-clinic visits)

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time (3–4 Days/Week Schedule with Full-Time Pay & Benefits)

Work Environment: Hybrid – Combination of In-Clinic and Telehealth Services

Travel Required: Occasional local travel to Glendale clinic

Salary / Hourly Rate: $120,000 – $150,000 per year

Job Summary:

The PMHNP provides integrated psychiatric care for adolescents and teens experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. This hybrid position combines telehealth and in-person care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and coordination of care, with a strong focus on supporting both patients and their families.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations considering mental and physical health
  • Provide holistic, integrated care including prevention, chronic disease management, and acute intervention
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications based on individualized treatment needs
  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
  • Offer psychoeducation and therapeutic support to patients and their families
  • Coordinate services with outside providers, schools, and community partners as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in the electronic health system
  • Actively participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and program development
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations governing mental health practice
  • Pursue ongoing education to stay current in psychiatric and adolescent care best practices

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Active Arizona State License required
  • 1+ years Experience with Adolescents
