Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Web Administrator / DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server, IIS, and DevOps tools such as PowerShell, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and VMware AVI Load Balancer (or equivalent technologies). This role is responsible for managing web server infrastructure, automating CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, and optimizing web application performance and deployment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, security-conscious, and comfortable in fast-paced environments where web application uptime, performance, and seamless deployment processes are critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and maintain web server infrastructure including Windows Server and IIS for hosting enterprise applications.
  • Design, build, and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Configure and maintain AVI Load Balancers (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer) or equivalent technologies to ensure web application scalability and availability.
  • Ensure application performance optimization, monitoring, and uptime for internal and public-facing web applications.
  • Implement and manage backups, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations.
  • Perform patch management, routine maintenance, and configuration management across server environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth and secure deployment processes.
  • Monitor system logs, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve server or deployment-related issues.
  • Automate server provisioning, configuration, and updates using Ansible, PowerShell, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Maintain system and application documentation, change logs, and configuration records.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 6+ years of experience in web server administration and DevOps engineering roles.
· Strong experience with:
  • Windows Server administration and IIS configuration
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and maintenance
  • Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management
  • Ansible and Terraform for configuration management and IaC
  • VMware AVI Load Balancer or equivalent load balancing technologies
  • Proven experience in managing high-availability systems and performing disaster recovery operations.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Azure, AWS).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to performance and security.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Must hold Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with web application security and SSL certificate management.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
