We're a fast-growing, innovative startup on the cutting edge of Generative AI, with big plans for expansion over the next few months. Our product is live, already generating revenue, and unlike anything else available in the market—designed specifically for developers creating Generative AI applications.

We're currently looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build a serverless product that combines information retrieval, distributed systems, and AI technologies. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing the backend systems from the ground up, ensuring scalability and reliability.

If you have a strong background in Rust, Golang, or C++ and experience working with distributed systems, we'd love to talk with you!

What You'll Do:

Design and build scalable backend systems to support a serverless, AI-driven product.
Work with distributed systems, including databases, cluster schedulers, and other control planes.
Contribute to the development of observable systems that operate at internet scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

What We're Looking For:

7+ years of relevant experience in backend development and building scalable web applications.
Experience building large-scale distributed systems, such as databases or control planes.
A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Rust, Go, C++, or C. We primarily use Rust.
Expertise in Kubernetes and AWS.
Experience designing systems for developer-facing applications is a plus.
